I had complete confidence after the interview was over that I was going to get selected for the job. Weekend passed, Monday came and went. No phone call. I still had hope. Tuesday morning, still no call nor missed call. Reality is creeping in a bit, hmm.. and that little voice mumbles "maybe you are not the one". By the time 5 PM rolled around and I still haven't heard a word, and knew then that most likely they've decided to go with others.
As the night rolled on, I said oh well and moved on with my daily routine. Suddenly, I see the new email notification box pop up. And there it is, an email from my interviewer informing me that they have selected another candidate.
I guess part time sales clerk at a computer store is not my calling after all.
